Abstract :
An X-band four-way power divider/combiner with E-plane waveguide T-junction and waveguide-to-microstrip (Wg-Ws) probe pair is introduced in this paper. In this structure, the E-plane steps brought in the E-plane waveguide T-junction realize the matching from the input port to the output port of the E-plane waveguide T-junction. The attractive features of this divider/combiner structure are equal power division, easy fabrication and low loss. In order to demonstrate the validity of the design, the four-way power divider/combiner is constructed and simulated by HFSS software, the return loss of the structure is better than 20dB and the transmission coefficient is about -6dB in full X-band.
