Abstract :
As the rapid development of the mobile communication technology in recent years, predicting the propagation characteristics for urban area have become an important subject. In this paper, the propagation characteristics in typical outdoor environment at 3.5GHz are simulated and analyzed by using the method of SBR (shooting and bounding ray tracing). It is agreed well by a comparison of simulated results and results in the literature, so the correctness of the method has been validated. Some propagation characteristics are obtained in the simulation, such as the path loss, delay spread and Doppler shift. The concrete analysis of the above results provides the theoretical foundation for outdoor micro-cell at 3.5GHz in the communication system, and benefits planning the base station and optimization of urban micro-cellular environment.
