Abstract :
Ray tracing method is an effective way to study radio propagation in the outdoor microcellular. In this paper, outdoor propagation characteristics at 28GHz are simulated and analyzed by the method of SBR/Image (Shooting and bouncing ray tracing/Image). And then the propagation parameters of LOS (Line-of-sight) and NLOS (None-line-of-sight) are compared between 28GHz and 2.6GHz radio wave. The analysis provides the foundation for the coverage of outdoor microcellular systems.
