Abstract :
An ultra-wide band (UWB) miniaturized rectangular monopole antenna is designed and simulated for System in Package (SiP) application. Area constraint in the package and limited bandwidth are the main design parameters. A generalized design and optimization scheme is formulated. Following the approach, the optimized antenna is simulated and results are presented which show promising functionality of the miniaturized design as per the laid out specifications.
