Abstract :
This paper proposes a spectral-element time-domain method for the analysis of PIN diode limiter circuits. Physical model of PIN diode is used here and analyzed by the drift-diffusion model. Then the semiconductor device is incorporated into the circuit simulation. Numerical results demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.
