Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. Effective strategic management involves the process of formulating and executing the means to create relative perceived value. Such value creation depends on successful balancing of returns to the owners and investment in growth. As industry transitions to the knowledge age, the technology centered firm must realign both the business and technology value chains to assure congruity as the business models change, the organization flattens out and a supply chain metastructure emerges. Using lessons learned from the MATI project (Management of Accelerated Technology Insertion), the means to achieve this are described
