Abstract :
Scientifically substantiated new method for relaxation of residual stresses in the ring parts by high-cycle loading is given. On the basis of the energy approach developed a mathematical model describing the mechanism of relaxation of residual stresses in the ring parts in the multicyclic loading. This model takes into account the geometrical dimensions of the part, physical and mechanical properties of the material and technological modes of processing. We received an analytically expression defining vibro-mechanical processing time, required for the complete removal of residual stresses in the ring parts. It has been established that exceeding the specified time leads to an accumulation of residual stresses until the onset of destruction of products. Experimental studies that describe the change in the internal stress in the multicyclic loading are conducted.
