Abstract
Physical and financial assets, competition, technological innovations, organizational changes and employee pressure effect on companies´ goals and preferences that focus on knowledge based business. Because of these effects, knowledge management is an important issue for businesses. Today, more companies give attention, allocate responsibility, focus on and budget for knowledge management. This research has two parts-theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part depends on books and related scientific articles and Web pages. The empirical part presents the results of a survey conducted at top 200 large leader companies in the Turkish economy
