Abstract
A brand new efficient derived physically expressive circuit (DPEC) method for model-order reduction (MOR) of large-scale circuits is proposed. It is the first method to derive a concise physically meaningful circuit model from a PEEC based meshing scheme by using mesh topology information and a new equivalent circuit transformation without any matrix inversion. With this new technique, the order and complicity of a PEEC circuit are gradually reduced as the redundant nodes are being absorbed while retaining the physical meaning of all the inductive and capacitive elements. Hence, it is very suitable for speeding up the analysis of a large-scale multi-conductor microwave circuits.
