Abstract :
Summary form only given. With the increasing use of trading on the Internet, especially as B2C and B2B categories, there has been many successes as well as failures. The authors have discussed research issues: strategy, legality and management, that are currently relevant to the fields of most researchers, practitioners and academics alike. The authors have evaluated various business models that are prevalent in the electronic supermarket sector of a tailing. The paper goes on to further review and evaluates existing models and identifies the shortcomings of the same. Emerging business models in the same sector engendered by the ever-changing dynamic business environment and money markets are discussed. Survey and experience have identified business models for e-tailing
