It is an Internet application that runs on an infrastructure composed of computers, software and communication systems and uses the Internet´s key infrastructure applications. Developing new kinds of commercial activities in the Cyberspace hinges on assuring consumers and businesses that their use of network services is secure and reliable, that their transactions are safe, and that they will be able to verify information about transactions and transacting parties.
