Abstract

Summary form only given. The new trend to execute "i-Business" by using "i-mode" mobile phones in Japan is going to burst to the worldwide culture, facing the new IMT-2000 based mobile phones with Java applet and servlet functions. In this proposed "i-Business" concept, "i-Business" means not only the use of "i-mode" mobile phones but also the use of "condensed information" that is knowledge extracted from the Internet. Considering the future prospect of "i-mode" mobile phones on business like e-commerce (EC) in Internet malls, the authors have described the basic idea and implementation of InterMediator agent to obtain "condensed information" in the Internet malls using "i-mode" mobile phones
