Abstract :
For the promotion of IPv6 related applications, services deployment and up-grades, We propose an emergency communication APP using the Wi-Fi Ad hoc structure and IPv6 network. The typically instant message APP (such like WhatsApp, Fb messenger) using the cellular or Wi-Fi network to send the message to each other, but sometime we can´t using the mobile communication because of the mobile data traffic congestion, or the other natural disasters. The typically instance message App can´t send the message at this moment. Therefore, we want to development a IPv6 APP based on Android system, can work on without the Wi-Fi hot spot or cellular network. We build up a modify Android system ROM of Android Phone to support the 802.11 Ad hoc Network, and also development an APP using the IPv6 address to get connection with the other device. Our APP uses the IPv6 self-configuration features to identify the user with link-local address and multicast address to multicast the message. So the Smart phone can communicate by using our emergency APP to get connection without the Internet.
