Abstract :
Summary form only given. This research applies the business plan method (BP method) to forecast the future five-year (2001-2005) world production value and domestic production value (PV) of the aerospace industry. Furthermore, the BP method is used for evaluating the performance of three government-sponsored aerospace projects in the previous five years (1995-2000) as well as in the decision making to allocate the budget for these three projects. The objectives for this research are divided into three parts: first, the aerospace industry is supported by a national policy; second, the domestic aerospace industry is in its "recession cycle" ; and third, the performance of the three projects is about the same quality. This research tried to find the solution to following issues. What is the actual possible PV in 2005? And, under the limitation of budget pool which project is relatively worthy of investing more money? Also, what can we expect from the investment?
