Abstract
We fabricated a 6-μm-diameter graphene-covered microfiber (GCM) with a controllable and convenient method, and realized passively mode-locked fiber lasers at 1.55μm and 2μm with the same GCM serving as a saturable absorber for the first time. Such GCM has high potential for ultrafast photonics applications over broadband wavelength.
