Abstract :
A cavity-resonator-integrated guided-mode resonance filter consisting of a grating coupler (GC) between two distributed Bragg reflectors can provide a narrowband reflection spectrum. Reductions in reflectance and reflection line width by a position shift of the GC from the center in the waveguide cavity are discussed by using the coupled-mode analysis.
