Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present research findings of a study conducted in Oklahoma, USA, to identify the different technology transfer characteristics unique to rural and metropolitan small manufacturing enterprises (SMEs). Rural and metropolitan manufacturers across Oklahoma in various SIC codes were asked to determine the importance of five technology transfer dimensions.
