Abstract
In this study, the importance of the usage of storage energy in the residential areas from the stand point of smartgrid studies and the contributions of the possible outcomes for national economy are investigated. In the research conducted, the energy storing systems used in buildings and the energy management systems to organize the energy storing systems are mentioned. The subject is extended by approaching in the sense of smartgirds and microgrids and the contributions to the whole nation are presented by using a modelling study which used the Matlab/Simulink. In addition, the disadvantages thay may arise with using the storage energy become widespread are presented. The study also mentions the disadvantages that may occur with widespread use of stored energy.
