Abstract
Summary form only given. In this paper, the author defines the concept of "strategic partnership" for the management of technological change, and presents two case studies that illustrate the performance benefits that can be derived from this practice. She argues that we, in the field of technology management, can play a leadership role in teaching the tenets of strategic partnership to our students, clients and fellow practitioners. Once this framework becomes the mental model by which change occurs, the performance possibilities will be limitless
