Abstract
Summary form only given. This paper studies the scheduling of design projects in a concurrent development process with uncertain number of feedback revisions. At first, definitions describing the concurrent activities are proposed for concurrent scheduling, they are the definitions of layer number of the activity, concurrent time and activity respectively. These definitions can describe the sequential relationships, resource constrained relationships between activities explicitly. Five rules for concurrent activity execution are given. On the basis of activity formulations, an optimization based methodology that combines heuristic algorithm, artificial intelligence (fuzzy, genetic algorithm) and scheduling theory is developed
