Abstract
The divine bell of King Songdok, known as the bell of Emille, is part of the cultural heritage of Korea. The Emille bell has the characteristic sound of maintaining like cutting off, burning people´s soul and touching heartstrings, which is believed to be caused by the ´Macnorlee´ phenomenon. For the first time, we have cleared up the cause of the ´Macnorlee´ phenomenon through an experiment, even though our ancestors were aware of the isochronism theory of the pendulum in 750 or thereabouts, and they discovered the Doppler effect and applied it to the bell
