On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, we welcome you to Zhuhai, China for the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (IEEE ROBIO2015)! Thanks to your continued support and participation over the last twelve years, ROBIO has become a major international conference on robotics and biomimetics. For ROBIO2015, we have received more than 572 submissions from 40 countries and regions. The technical scope of these submitted papers covered practically every aspect of robotics and biomimetics. We accepted a total of 398 papers to be included in the Conference Proceedings. Among them, 322 papers were selected to be presented in 50 oral sessions, 76 posters will be displayed in the 2 poster sessions, as well as 5 oral session for latest new results submissions. Focusing on new challenges in robotics and biomimetics, ROBIO2015 will also host five plenary speeches and three keynotes, all of which will be presented by world-renowned researchers.
