Abstract :
In this paper an analysis and modeling methodology of piezoelectric transformers is presented. Three-dimensional simulation by Finite Element Method is utilized to obtain the Mason lumped parameter model. The PT has been prototyped and the experimental measurements are compared with the simulations. The results show that the simulation in three-dimensional environment by Finite Element Method reveals the physical properties of the piezoelectric transformer satisfactorily.
