Abstract :
The paper deals with the development of a method of teaching Power Electronics, using the concept of Educational Interactivity under the reasoning given in the intersection of the concept of facilitating the teaching of Meaningful Learning from David Ausubel´s Theory and interaction/mediation proposed by Lev Vygotsky, in his Socio-Historical Theory. The research dealt with the influence of the concept of Educational Interactivity when to plan, prepare and use educational content in digital media for teaching and learning in Power Electronics. Main objective sought to examine the potential pedagogical innovation of teaching Power Electronics that uses multimedia resources. Adobe Flash CS5 version was used to develop the software systems, because it has vast resources for development tools that streamline multimedia lessons and simulate circuits in order to facilitate the understanding of what happens in real life. The results obtained determine qualitatively and quantitatively the validity of the model to indicate strengths coincide with its purpose.
