Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to evaluate how a smart grid commissioning platform can support power electronics development. Discussion about system modeling, mainly including power converters, is performed. To demonstrate effectiveness of using a commissioning platform a real power system was evaluated. As a result, it was possible to evaluate the effects of photovoltaic generation connected to the grid, with or without reactive control to enhance the grid network performance.
