Abstract :
This paper presents the design of a testing platform for anti-island detection systems of 1kW grid-tie inverters used in distributed generation. The methodology consists of simulations and development of an electronically controlled load to evaluate inverters by the NBR-IEC 62116 standard. We present simulations results of the system behavior and show the applicability of this methodology in development and production of the platform.
