Abstract :
An emerging scenario for wireless communications is ultra-dense networks with many carriers. Network resources including the network nodes and spectrum should be allocated properly according to traffic loads and interference conditions. In this paper, an optimization problem is formulated to allocate carrier-level resources to reduce the user perceived latency. Numerical evaluations show that the proposed scheme greatly enhances user experience and provides considerable capacity gains.
