Abstract
The application of time-frequency analysis on ISAR imaging is discussed in this paper. Spatially variant apodization in one dimension and two dimensions are introduced to significantly reduce sidelobe levels without degrading mainlobe resolution. Combination of the SVA and time-frequency analysis in ISAR imaging of the maneuvering target is proposed to improve imaging quality of the traditional RD algorithm. Simulation data demonstrate this method can get good ISAR imaging for maneuvering targets.
