Abstract :
We have been investigating sensors for measuring traffic flow using image processing technology. (We call them "image sensors".) We have concluded that, in order to introduce them, those engaged in road management should work to evaluate the validity of the measured values and to clarify their purpose. We show some examples of that work using the velocity of cars measured by image sensors
