Abstract :
This paper can be divided into two parts. The first part involves the design of current mode building blocks such as current mirrors, comparators, amplifiers. A new improved n-type current mirror based on regulated cascode circuit configuration is presented. The second part involved the design of one bit, two bit and eight bit current mode ADCs. The simulations were done using 0.8 micron BiCMOS technology from CMC
