C2C Web Transaction Reliability

The proliferation of web transactions among individuals in a C2C environment has sparked extensive research in evaluating the trustworthiness of a transaction and the players, buyer and seller, involved. In this work, a web transaction model is proposed in which we argue that how much trust we place on the seller, item, and buyer, must be evaluated, as well as the relations between these entities. Focusing on the seller, item, and buyer, factors that can be used to measure their trustworthiness are proposed and examined.
