A resource allocation scheme for multiuser OFDMA systems with fairness and QOS assurance

In order to exploit resources efficiently and fairly in the downlink of multiuser OFDMA systems, this letter investigates a novel joint subcarrier and power allocation scheme to balance the capacity optimality and the fairness with considering error-free instantaneous estimated channel state information (CSI) among users. The algorithm satisfies the minimum rate requirement and ensures different proportional rates fairness among users. Numerical results show that the proposed algorithm improves the performance over other schemes.
