Abstract :
Nowadays, with the increasing development of automobile industry, vehicle to vehicle (V2V) communication attracts widely attention in Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC). On one hand, a lot of methods are used in V2V channel measurement and several corresponded fitted curves have been achieved. On the other hand, according to some mathematical models, some concrete experiments have been conducted to validate these theories. This paper focuses on the impact of the vehicle body on V2V channel according to experiments on channel measurement in free space circumstance and then analyses the effects of antenna height on the communication process in single input single output (SISO) condition. Finally, this article gives the advanced research direction and promising future of V2V communication.
