Abstract
An improved weighted network model is proposed based on BBV model. In the evolution processing, a new node joins to network according to strength preference, mean while, a new edge joins to network according to triangle structure mechanism. The simulation results show that node degree distribution, node strength and edge weight distribution all follow the power-law; the clustering coefficient of networks tends to a nonzero constant which is much less than one with the networks increasing size and it is growing while the edge weights increase within certain range. The model could be used to research actual system such as airport network, power network, Internet, telecommunication network and etc.
