Abstract :
Around the whole world, electric energy from photovoltaic systems is considered as an important generation alternative in the electric power system. A measure of the photovoltaic system´s performance is given by the energy production as well as the system efficiencies, evaluated for different reference periods. In this paper, the photovoltaic system of Applied Research Laboratory Iasi, Romania has been presented and its performance indices have been evaluated. In this order, the performance of the grid connected photovoltaic system has been analyzed on annual, monthly and daily reference periods.
