Abstract :
The protection of production systems based on renewable energy requires specific characteristics, alongside the development o new solutions for protection. This paper presents the case of a wind farm linked to Romania´s transport network, on a interconnection line with Bulgaria, and the necessity of a new protection function called thermal differential protection.
