Abstract :
A method for complex permittivity and permeability determination of liquid and loose materials is presented. A general case of the reflection and transmission method is considered and proper equations are derived. A particular case based on the reflection coefficient measurements of two samples of different lengths is studied in detail. Some uncertainty problems are discussed.
