Abstract :
This paper presents the design of a triple band printed slot antenna for WLAN/WiMAX applications. The dual band notched characteristic is realized by adding two symmetrical strip lines into the side plan of slot antenna and split two symmetrical slots in the top plan of slot antenna. The proposed slot antenna can generate triple band (2.3-2.7 GHz, 3.28-3.88 GHz and 5.03-6.09 GHz) covering all frequencies bands of WLAN/WiMAX operation. The measured radiation patterns presented omni-directional and bi-directional antenna in xz and yz planes, respectively. The proposed slot antenna is suitable to apply for various WLAN/WiMAX applications.
