Abstract :
This work is a guide to preparing a first estimate report on the design and dimensioning of a photovoltaic power system with network connection. The same is presented to Congress CONCAPAN Honduras 2015, the IEEE Power & Energy Society. The document contains the initial data required, the solar resource available, and how the influence of weather variables in the design is. A description of the system components, and influence the choice of a specific module and inverter design is performed. Calculations and criteria applied for the selection of all cables are given. The necessary cables for the action of the sun corrections are made. The relevance of this work is to make a contribution, sometimes unusual to get so detailed, that can be applied to similar designs in any other location. This town could be in Honduras by the similarity of the solar resource.
