Abstract :
In most of the developing countries, economic losses arising from the theft of power can difficult the finances and the demand planning of marketers and lead to the collapse of the electrical system of a country. This has led considerable efforts in the search for solutions to detect frauds of energy based on the application of statistical algorithms for the analysis of load patterns. The lack of energy consumption patterns that, in advance, allow to know which users are licit and which are fraudulent is the main difficulty for the determination of the effectiveness in the use of these models. This paper presents the results obtained in the process of design and implementation of a software platform that allows generating consumption patterns corresponding to users within the groups previously mentioned. The MATLAB development environment is used to manage the application and the information about the consumption habits.
