Abstract :
We propose an accurate analysis technique and a synthesis technique (based on simulated annealing) of cascaded LPFG using the multiport lattice filter structure. The proposed synthesis technique based on simulated annealing for the cascaded LPFG can be fitted an arbitrary spectrum having wavelength spacing and linewidth. The designed cascaded LPFG by the proposed method can be used as a WDM isolation filter in a WDM communication system
