  • Abstract
Organizational identification is a perception that individual is consistent with the organization. The purpose of this paper was to explore the status of university teachers´ organizational identification and the influencing factors by applying the computational statistics software SPSS19.0 to analyze the data. Method: 535 university teachers were investigated with two questionnaires and the data were tested with the correlation analysis, F test and regression analysis. Results: Firstly, the retest reliability and the Cranach´s reliability of the self-compiled organizational identification´s questionnaire were 0.85 and 0.89 respectively, which completely meet the psychometric requirements. Secondly, University teachers´ organizational identification was in the middle level and there are significant differences in seniority, and title variable, except for the gender variable. In addition, the personality traits of psychoticism and neuroticism could negatively predict the level of university teachers´ organizational identification. Finally, according to the results and analysis of this research, we put forward three proposals and countermeasures to improve college teachers´ organizational identity.
