Abstract
In distributed systems and service oriented architecture, message middleware is a key component to have services and applications interact with each other, independently of their location and connectivity requirements. However, most of traditional message systems are designed for high throughput of message delivery and can not satisfy the strict low latency demand of message transmission in several certain fields. Meanwhile, message producers and consumers are coupled tightly in publish-subscribe pattern through message topic which would lead to a brittle system. This paper implement a service oriented real-time message middleware to solve these problems. We decouple message producers and consumers to achieve robustness by introducing service discovery mechanism in the system. Also we implement real-time and reliable message transmission based on improved UDP protocol to achieve low latency of message transmission. The performance results under different workloads demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the system.
