Abstract :
As multi-channel and multi radio networks are used widely, channel assignment scheme plays a vital role in function determination of wireless mesh networks. Nowadays, many channel assignment schemes are presented in order to increase the functionality of wireless networks. However most of the existing schemes aim interfering links on the target link in a level and it decreases network functionality dramatically. A new scheme will be provided in this research for channel assignment based on clustering according to categorizing whose difference with other methods lie where it separates interfering links and categorizes it. In this method, using calculation of maximum category in interfering graph, this scheme logically divides network into clusters and assigns channel in three steps in order to decrease the interference of links which includes coordinated and non-coordinated interference.
