Abstract :
In the field of modern network, the static frequency converter start-up of the pumped storage unit is one of the important issues of research. The paper has analyzed and studied on the intermittent commutation stage, the natural commutation stage and the convergence problem of the two stages. Based on the principle of static frequency converter start-up, in the natural commutation, the control method of the inverter has been simplified according to the rotor position. Combined with some engineering practices, it has proposed the improved control strategy that the double-loop control could be inputted directly when the motor starts. Finally, the Matlab/Simulink has been used to build control model to verify the correctness of the improved method proposed in the paper.
