Abstract :
Power electronics based energy-saving technology has being developed rapidly in recent years. It is an inevitable trend for traditional load devices to be upgraded with power electronics technology. For example, more and more motor drives, which occupies a large proportion in total power load, change from asynchronous motors to Variable Frequency (VF) motor drives. Thus, the actual features of electrical loads, which plays an important role in power system analysis, will have obvious difference than that of before. Firstly, the operation theory of VF motor drive is studied in this paper, and its detailed model is also established in simulation software. Then, the curves of dynamic response curves under the disturbances of voltage and frequency in power grid are obtained. Finally the parameters of the static model of VF motor drive are identified.
