Abstract :
Wind power and photovoltaic (PV) power generation is currently scale developing with high speed in China. Due to the uncertainty of wind power and PV power output, more reserve and balance capacity is additional necessary caused by large scale wind power and PV power integration, which bring a challenge on the accommodation, accessing options, sending out channel of the large scale of renewable energy. Development scale renewable energy is studied in this paper based on considering government planning and preliminary progress. Evaluation method of renewable energy generation capability is submitted to analyze characteristic of wind and PV power. The method of sequential production simulation based on random unit commitment is presented to simulate daily operation of power system. Accommodation capability of renewable energy integrated into power grid is study based on considering the layout of flexible and traditional power resource.
