Abstract :
By analyzing the characteristics of the lightning current and traditional distribution transformer model, a transient distribution transformer model under the lightning stroke is established. Through the calculation of the traditional distribution transformer model parameters and the study of energy equivalence principled, this paper puts forward a method to calculate the resistance, inductance and distributed capacitance parameters of the lighting transient model. And the parameters of S-11-M-100/10 distribution transformer are calculated as an example. This paper simulates the simple distribution network with a distribution transformer model in lightning stroke using PSCAD. By analysis on the waveforms of distribution transformer for both high and low voltage side in three kinds of lighting stroke, this paper shows the lightning hazards of distribution transformers.
