Abstract :
In this paper, in order to quantify the correlation and joint probability character between different wind farms, the relativity analysis theory is used in the correlation evaluation of multi-wind farms, located in different positions. And then a method for modeling the joint probability distribution of wind resource in multi-wind farms is provided, which is based on the copula function. The availability of this method are demonstrated by an actual case with two wind farms, located in northwest of China.
