Abstract
We aim through this paper to present a semi blind and informed watermarking approach based on Weber differential descriptor to build a watermark from the original image by achieving robustness and also detecting the tampered zones. We divide the original image into n by m blocks and the centered pixel is chosen to be concerned for watermark embedding in the spatial domain. The tamper detection is proved into tampered watermarked image by comparing the extracted watermark after attacks with the original watermark image. We focused also through this approach on the watermarking robustness and tested it against different scenario of attacks. The experimental results show the perfect covering of tamper issue and also the watermark robustness.
